Main Application Criteria

The application must be jointly submitted by a Singapore-registered company and an Israel-registered company. Either company must not have more than 20% shareholding in the partnering company. The joint project must be undertaken in Singapore and Israel. At least 30% of the actual R&D work must be done in Singapore as well as in Israel. Technology and product developed must have potential for commercialization.

Companies are advised to contact the SIIRD Management to find out more about the submission procedures.

 

Applying for SIIRD Funding

Before submitting the joint project proposal, both companies are to submit a 3-4 pages joint Executive Summary based on the "Guidelines for Executive Summary".

A meeting between the company and the SIIRD Management Team in the respective country shall be arranged after the submission of the Executive Summary to discuss more on the project details.

After the meeting, both companies shall submit a joint project proposal based on the "Guidelines for Mini R&D and Full Scale R&D Project Proposal" before the submission deadline. The proposal submission includes a softcopy submission to the SIIRD Management Team and five hardcopies submission to SIIRD Singapore office.

The submitted proposal will be subjected to evaluations by independent professionals from Singapore and Israel, after which the evaluated proposals will be submitted to SIIRD Board for approval.

* Companies are advised to work closely with the SIIRD Management Team during the project submission period to ensure that the proposal meets SIIRD guidelines.
