Cordyceps sinensis was reported to have anti-fungal activity, particularly to the strains of the dermatophytes, a group of three genera of fungi that commonly cause skin disease of people and animals. These are the Epidermophyton, Trichophyton and Microsporum. It has been observed in APN factory that the workers who have touched the cordyceps cellular materials all the time show their hand skin of whitening and glossy, and black spots disappeared. In the proposed project, we would like to prove the whitening and anti-dermatophytes effects of cordyceps scientifically, and formulate the cordyceps into the cosmetic products. |
