ARFIC [Advanced RFIC(S) Pte. Ltd.] is a Singapore based fabless IC design company with 3 major business units: (1) IC & System design and development (2)Characterization & Modeling (3) Electronic Design Automation. We have successfully established ourselves in Asia-Pacific region with major customers in Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan. In addition, we have also established a system application and development team in exploring applications of wireless sensor network technology to a range of medical applications, emergency care, disaster response etc.

Brief description of proposed R&D project:

The proposed project is joint development of entirely FEM (Front End Module) of the mobuile phone on LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) for Asia Pacific Markets. This module consists of ASM (Anrenna Switch Module), SAW, PAM (Power Amplifier Module) etc.

Desired Profile of R&D Partner and its role in the proposed project:

The desired R&D partner is requested to provide high performance dual-band, tri-band and Quar-band PA (Power Amplifier) for this module. This strategic partner is involving in develop and providing the PAs in "die" form. The "die" size and design must be compatible to market expectations.
